you can see your coordinates by going to the chat menu and typing in /loc
how the coordinate system works:
x= the north/south axis. all the way south is -4000 and all the way north is 4000.
y= elevation
z= the west/east axis. all the way west is -4000 and all the way east is 4000.
Some examples of coordinates and how you can figure out where you are without looking at h1z1db (especially now that we have in game maps in survival).
x=-2800, z=2850. You are pretty far south (x= high negative #) and far east (z= high positive number). This means you are near the SE corner of the map (probably near Crescent)
x=-2800, z=450. Again, you are far south, but more toward the middle of the west/east axis. Probably Oholne Circle or De Soto.
x=2350, z=-205. Far north (x= high positive #) and somewhere in the middle of the west/east axis. You are somewhere on hunter drive (Zimms probably closest point of interest)
x=0, z=1500. Middle of South/north axis and east of center. Avram highway (probably between the dam and bubbas.)
